Annual Diocesan Women’s Retreat

“If we look seriously at the Scriptures, and if we’re honest, we hear a lot of awfully challenging things! We’re tempted, like Jesus’ disciples, to turn away to an easier path. But like his first disciples, we find that no one else has “words of eternal life.”People’s last words often summarize what they most earnestly desire. Jesus’ final instructions to his disciples add to the challenges of following him: Go make more disciples!

This makes most of us squirm. Begun as lessons learned in facing the daunting task of inspiring her own children’s faith, the principles Marcia Lebhar will share apply to disciples at every stage of life. Come join us for a weekend of encouragement… encouragement to persevere and go deeper in our own relationships with God, and a look at some ways our faith becomes contagious.”

Registration is open. Early registration is cheaper. Price will go up after April 18th.  Scholarship available for those that qualify.

  1. This year our speaker is Marcia Lebhar, wife of the Gulf Atlantic Diocese’s first bishop, Neil Lebhar
  2. Retreat includes small group breakout discussions, plenary teaching and Q&A, and time for personal connection with the Lord, rest and renewal.  Optional intercessory prayer and/or healing ministry available Saturday afternoon of retreat. Awesome worship included.
  3. Minimal cost for 3 day retreat, meals and lodging (bunkbeds, private hot showers.) Parish groups may room together (multiple bunks.) We recommend parish carpools to save on transportation costs. Great way to find support and fellowship with other churches in Cascadia Diocese.

  1. This year our speaker is Bronwyn Short, wife of Rev. David Short of St. John’s ACNA in Vancouver, Canada (formerly Shaughnessy.)  She’ll teach on the Epistle to Titus, with the theme of keeping one’s faith alive in post-modern North America, specifically the culture of the NW.
